Vybrant® DyeCycle™ Ruby Stain (V10273, V10309) is a new dye that is used for the analysis of cell cycle in living cells by flow cytometry using common 635 nm red laser excitation. The dye emits at >670 nm, placing cell cycle studies within reach of nearly all flow cytometrists while leaving common blue laser channels open for other studies. The main benefit of Vybrant® DyeCycle™ Ruby is its low level of toxicity compared to DRAQ5. Now, cells can be analyzed using red laser excitation, sorted and re-grown.
