The CD19, clone 6D5, Qdot® 800 nanocrystal conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that reacts with mouse CD19 and recognizes the expressed product of the mouse CD19 gene. The Qdot® 800 nanocrystal conjugate may be used in the same way as conventional antibody conjugates and is most often used with 405 nm excitation, permitting simultaneous multicolor labeling of multiple targets off the violet laser. Alternatively, the nanocrystal can be excited by any laser up to the wavelength at which it absorbs.

Specificity for CD19
The 6D5 monoclonal antibody (mAb) reacts with CD19, a co-receptor protein in the B-cell co-receptor complex that includes CD21 (CR2) and CD81 (TAPA-1). CD19 is an important B cell development marker appearing in early B-cell progenitor cells that is known to be important in the activation of mature cells. An application of the 6D5 mAb is immunostaining for flow cytometry.
