The HLA-DR, clone TÜ36, Qdot® 655 nanocrystal conjugate is a mouse monoclonal antibody (mAb) that is specific to human HLA-DR and recognizes the expressed product of the HLA-DR gene. The Qdot® 655 nanocrystal conjugate may be used in the same way as conventional antibody conjugates and is most often used with 405 nm excitation, permitting simultaneous multicolor labeling of multiple targets off the violet laser. Alternatively, the nanocrystal can be excited by any laser up to the wavelength at which it absorbs.

Specificity for HLA-DR
This antibody recognizes the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) specific for DR alleles, a tissue typing classification used for organ transplantation. The HLA-DR is a MHC class II surface receptor, whose primary purpose is to present a peptide antigen (which may be foreign in origin) to the immune system that in turn may produce antibodies against the peptide antigen. HLA-DR is expressed on B cells, activated T-cells and antigen expressing cells. The anti-human HLA-DR monoclonal antibody (mAb) recognizes only the complex of the αβ chains of HLA-DR, but not the individual chains.
