The a-FMOC derivative of ε-QSY®-7-L-lysine can be used to incorporate the dabcyl chromopore at selsected sites in a peptide sequence. The QSY®-7chromophore, which has broad visible absorption (absorption maxima ~560 nm) has been used as a quenching group in fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) applications.
