Brighter Fluorescent Secondary Antibodies Give You Brighter Images
Secondary antibody conjugates made with Qdot® nanocrystals produce fluorescence output that surpasses that of traditional organic dyes. Qdot® nanocrystals paired with the correct optical filters are as much as 50 times brighter than traditional organic dyes.

Qdot® Labeled Antibodies Are:

  • Bright—as much as 50 times brighter compared to organic dyes
  • Photostable—Qdots do not photobleach
  • Able to be multiplexed—8 different colors from Qdot® 525 to Qdot® 800
Fluorescence That Does Not Photobleach
Unlike even the best organic fluorescent dyes, which will photobleach over time, Qdot® nanocrystals are based on semiconductor materials, that when assembled, create a fluorescent particle which does not photobleach.

Multiplexing Qdot® Nanocrystals
Qdot® nanocrystals possess unique spectral properties due to the semiconductor material that makes up the core of the Qdot® nanocrystal. Qdot® nanocrystals absorption and excitation at low wavelengths with emissions at specific wavelengths greatly simplifies multiplexed detection. Qdot® nanocrystals are available in 8 different colors - 525, 565, 585, 605, 625, 655, 705, and 800.
