The CD8, clone 3B5, Qdot® 655 nanocrystal conjugate is a monoclonal mouse antibody that recognizes the CD8 antigen also known as T8 and Lyt2,3. The Qdot® 655 nanocrystal conjugate may be used in the same way as conventional antibody conjugates and permits simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets with excitation by a single excitation source-the 488 nm line of the argon-ion laser, or alternatively via excitation at 405 nm.

Specificity for CD8
This antibody recognizes the CD8 antigen also known as T8 and Lyt2,3. This antibody recognizes the α-chain alone as well as the αβ heterodimer. CD8 serves as a coreceptor during T-cell activation through the binding of MHC Class I molecules. CD8 is expressed on thymocyte subsets and cytotoxic T cells.
