Recombinant MIP-1-beta is a bioactive protein intended for use in cell culture applications. MIP-1&beta (Macrophage inflammatory protein-1&alpha) is involved in a number of biological processes including chemotaxis and is involved in inducing the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF, IL-6, and IL-1.
