Premo™ cameleon calcium sensor is a genetically encoded and ratiometric sensor for proximal calcium signal measurements. Pre-packaged in BacMam format, it is designed for live-cell application and interferes minimally with cell biology. The physiological nature of Premo™ Cameleon renders it extremely versatile, with advantages in imaging applications, as well in compound screening employing HTS or HCS methodologies.

The BacMam delivery technology is proven, biosafe, and non-cytotoxic; transduction has been successfully demonstrated in numerous cell lines, including primary and stem cells. Cells are easily transduced in batch and Premo™cameleon calcium sensor remains functional over several days of cell culture.

It is possible to divide the transduced, homogenous cell population into aliquots that can be stored frozen for use at a later time, approximating the consistency of a stable cell line in a transient expression format.

Premo™ cameleon calcium sensor should be stored at 4°C, protected from light and is supplied with an enhancer (store at 4°C). When stored as directed, the product is stable for 6 months.
