The NCode™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is part of a novel quantitative assay that provides flexibility, sensitivity, and specificity when quantitating miRNA expression. The system combines a carefully optimized polyadenylation reaction with the market-leading reverse transcriptase, SuperScript® III RT, in a universal first-strand cDNA synthesis reaction. The miRNA-specific amplification occurs during the subsequent PCR reaction, in which the sequence of the miRNA of interest is used as the target-specific PCR primer. Platinum® SYBR® GreenER qPCR SuperMix combines Platinum® Taq DNA Polymerase with SYBR® GreenER fluorescent dye, delivering excellent sensitivity in the quantitation of target sequences. The NCode™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis system is available separately as well as in a kit format with the Platinum® SYBR® Green qPCR SuperMix or SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR Reagent System. SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR Reagent System
The SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR Reagent System uses a novel double-stranded DNA-binding dye with improved performance in qPCR. Compared to the original SYBR® Green I, this dye produces a brighter signal and significantly reduces PCR inhibition while exhibiting nearly identical spectral characteristics. Use the SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR Reagent System just like your SYBR® Green qPCR kit, without changing instrument settings or filters to achieve superior performance from a broad range of targets (Table 1).
