The CD71, clone T56/14, R-PE (phycoerythrin) conjugate is a monoclonal mouse antibody that recognizes the expressed product of the TFRC gene. R-PE is a stable and highly soluble phycobiliprotein which provides maximal absorbance and fluorescence without susceptibility to internal or external fluorescence quenching, thus providing an exceptional quantum yields and molar extinction coefficients. Use of R-PE in antibody conjugates provides probes with greatly enhanced detectability.


Specificity for CD71
This antibody recognizes the CD71 antigen. The CD71 antigen serves as the transferrin receptor. It is expressed on activated leukocytes.
