This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody to the human CD45 antigen that is conjugated to Pacific Blue™. With a peak emission wavelength of 455 nm, Pacific Blue™ conjugates are strongly fluorescent at neutral pH and ideally suited for 450 nm Em band pass filter sets off the violet laser. Anti-CD45 recognizes the expressed product of the PTPRC gene. This is an Analyte Specific Reagent.
Every Lot is Tested by Flow Cytometry
Each lot is tested by flow cytometry using human peripheral blood leukocytes (PBL). Based on this testing we suggest using 5 µl of antibody per 1 x 10e6 cells in a 100 µl staining volume. Because conditions may vary, it is recommended that each investigator determine the optimal amount of antibody to be used for each application. Lot-specific flow cytometry data is available on request.

Specific for CD45
According to the literature, this antibody recognizes the CD45 antigen, also known as Leukocyte Common Antigen or LCA. CD45 is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin with the exception of platelets and red blood cells and their immediate precursors. CD45 is considered to be a pan leukocyte marker.
