The CD45, clone HI30, Alexa Fluor® 488 dye conjugate is a monoclonal mouse antibody that is reactive to the human CD45 antigen and recognizes the expressed product of the PTPRC gene. Based on our testing, publications, and results reported from customers, the Alexa Fluor® 488 dye provides the best fluorescein (FITC) substitute available. The Alexa Fluor® 488 fluorescence emission profile is almost identical to that of fluorescein, and provides pH-insensitive fluorescence between pH 4 and 10.


Specificity for CD45
This antibody recognizes the CD45 antigen, also known as leukocyte common antigen or LCA. CD45 is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin with the exception of platelets and red blood cells and their immediate precursors. CD45 is a pan leukocyte marker.
