The CD45, clone HI30, fluorescein (FITC) dye conjugate is a monoclonal mouse antibody that is reactive to the human CD45 antigen and recognizes the expressed product of the PTPRC gene. Commonly used, fluorescein conjugates provide relatively high absorptivity, excellent fluorescence quantum yield, and good water solubility. Fluorescein conjugates have been superseded by the Alexa Fluor® 488 dye conjugates, which exhibit a fluorescence emission profile almost identical to fluorescein and provide pH-insensitive fluorescence between pH 4 and 10.


Specificity for CD45
This antibody recognizes the CD45 antigen, also known as leukocyte common antigen or LCA. CD45 is expressed on all cells of hematopoietic origin with the exception of platelets and red blood cells and their immediate precursors. CD45 is a pan leukocyte marker.
