The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody (mAb) reacts with the CD45 antigen (LCA, Ly-5), a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase involved in the regulation of signaling through B and T cell antigen receptors. CD45 is found on all leukocytes and cells of hematopoietic origin, but not mature erythrocytes.
