High Sensitivity and Large Dynamic Range
Chemiluminescence readout provides an improvement in assay sensitivity and a large dynamic range compared to colorimetric readout. This enables detection of proteins at low levels that otherwise would not be detected using other methods. In addition, the broad dynamic range minimizes sample dilutions to ensure protein measurements fall within the range of the assay.

Easy-to-Run Sandwich ELISA
The total assay incubation time is only 3 hours and 30 minutes. A monoclonal capture antibody specific for Rat TNF-α has been coated onto the wells of a 96-well plate. Samples, including a standard of known rat TNF-α content, controls, and unknowns, are pipetted into these wells and allowed to incubate. After washing, the AP-conjugated detector antibody is added which then binds to the antigen on a second site. After washing, a chemiluminescent substrate is added. The relative luminescence units (RLU) can be read on a microplate reader with chemiluminescence capability (luminometer) and are proportional to the concentration of rat TNF-α present.
