The EnzChek® epoxide hydrolase substrate is designed for studying the epoxide hydrolase family of enzymes including the arachidonic epoxide hydrolases (implicated in the regulation of inflammation and blood pressure) and microsomal epoxide hydrolases (reported to detoxify epoxides into diols) and their respective inhibitors. The EnzChek® epoxide hydrolase substrate produces a bright blue-fluorescent product (excitation/emission maxima ~358/452 nm) for the accurate and sensitive detection of epoxide hydrolase activity in solution.
