The ChargeSwitch® EasyPlex™ gDNA Kit is a solid-phase, high-throughput genomic DNA (gDNA) purification system designed for rapid and efficient isolation of gDNA from fresh or frozen samples. This kit utilizes 96-well plates coated with the ChargeSwitch® nucleic acid-binding surface, whose ionic charge can be switched by changing the pH of the surrounding buffer. At low pH, the positive charge of the ChargeSwitch® surface binds the negatively charged nucleic acids. Proteins and other contaminants that do not bind are washed away, leaving pure DNA ready for downstream applications.This kit is designed for use by standardized testing laboratories and is a general purpose reagent (Limited Use Label License 300).

Contents and Storage The ChargeSwitch® EasyPlex™ gDNA Kit contains ChargeSwitch® EasyPlex™ gDNA Plate(s), ChargeSwitch® Plate Binding and Lysis Buffer, ChargeSwitch® Wash Buffers, ChargeSwitch® Elution Buffer, Strip-Ease-8 PCR Caps, and Plate Seal(s). Store all components at room temperature. The plates can be stored for up to 12 months.
