Primary Human Corneal Epithelial Cells from Invitrogen are guaranteed to have ≥70% viability upon thaw, with each vial containing sufficient cells to seed ≥100 cm2
of tissue culture surface. Each lot of HCEC undergoes performance testing and is guaranteed to reach at least 12 population doublings (PD) after thaw when using Keratinocyte Serum Free Medium (KSFM). HCEC stain positive via immunocytochemical techniques for corneal epithelial markers Cytokeratin 15 and p63 alpha.
