This antibody is purified IgG fraction from rabbit serum raised against green fluorescent protein (GFP). The GFP was isolated directly from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria. The IgG fraction was purified byion-exchange chromatography to remove nonspecific immunoglobulins andconjugated to our bright, red-fluorescent Alexa Fluor® 594 dye.
