The green-fluorescent Alexa Fluor® 488 anti-HA antibody can be used to detect the influenza hemagglutinin epitope YPYDVPDY, used extensively as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. The anti-hemagglutinin mouse monoclonal antibody was raised against the twelve amino acid peptide CYPYDVPDYASL.
