The Alexa Fluor 647 hydrazide is a low molecular weight, cell membrane—impermeant, aldehyde-fixable molecule that can be used as a cell tracer. This far-red—fluorescent polar dye can be loaded into cells by microinjection, infusion from patch pipette or uptake induced by our Influx pinocytic cell-loading reagent (I-14402).
