SensiCell™ MEM uses a sodium bicarbonate buffer system (2.2 g/L) and therefore requires a 5–10% CO2 environment to maintain physiological pH. Cells successfully cultured in SensiCell™ MEM, with little or no adaptation, include Caco-2, HL-60, and Sp2/0-Ag-14.
