The CD278, clone C398.4A, PerCP-Cy®5.5 conjugate is an Armenian hamster monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the mouse, rat and human CD278 (ICOS) antigen. The PerCP-Cy®5.5 tandem conjugate combines the peridinin-chlorophyll proteins (PerCP) complexes, found in nature, with the Cy®5.5 cyanine dye; thereby permitting simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets by utilizing a single excitation source – the 488 nm line of an argon-ion laser.

Specific for CD278
CD278, also known as inducible costimulatory molecule (ICOS), is a co-stimulatory molecule that forms homodimers and is expressed on activated T-cells and a subset of thymocytes. It is involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation, Th2 cell development, and B cell germinal center formation within the humoral immune response. The CD278 (ICOS) hamster monoclonal antibody (mAb) reacts with the human, mouse, and rat CD278 antigens.
