The CD137, clone 4-1BB, PE-Cy®7 conjugate is a mouse monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the human CD137 (4-1BB) antigen. The R-phycoerythrin (PE)-Cy®7 tandem conjugate permits simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets with excitation by a single excitation source – the 488 nm line of the argon-ion laser.

Specific for CD137
CD137 is a type I membrane protein belonging to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. It is expressed on activated T-cells where it is involved in T-cell proliferation and survival, and on monocytes where it induces activation and proliferation. In addition, CD137 expression is found on follicular dendritic cells, NK cells, granulocytes, and cells of blood vessel walls at sites of inflammation. CD137 is known to enhance the immune system of mice enough to eliminate tumors.
