The CD335 (NKp64), clone 29A1.4, APC conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the mouse CD335 antigen also known as NKp64. APC (allophycocyanin) is one of the brightest dyes used today. It is a stable and highly soluble phycobiliprotein, which provides maximal absorbance and fluorescence without susceptibility to internal or external fluorescence quenching. APC provides almost perfect quantum efficiencies and molar extinction coefficients. Use of APC in antibody conjugates results in probes with greatly enhanced detectability.

Specific for CD335
CD335, also known as NKp64 or natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 1 (NCR1), is a single-pass type I membrane protein belonging to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family. CD335 expression is restricted to NK cells and a subset of NK-like T cells; however, it is not expressed in CD1d-restricted NKT cells. CD335 is a receptor for viral hemagglutinins and heparan sulfate proteoglycans and it is involved in NK cell activation.
