The CD274, clone 10.F9G2, APC conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the CD274 antigen, also known as B7-H1 and PD-L1. APC (allophycocyanin) is one of the brightest dyes used today. It is a stable and highly soluble phycobiliprotein, which provides maximal absorbance and fluorescence without susceptibility to internal or external fluorescence quenching. APC provides almost perfect quantum efficiencies and molar extinction coefficients. Use of APC in antibody conjugates results in probes with greatly enhanced detectability.

Specific for CD274
CD274, also known as B7 homolog 1 (B7-H1) or programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1), belongs to the B7 family of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily and is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on B cells, T cells, NK cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, and IFN-γ activated endothelial cells. CD274 is involved in the co-stimulation of T-cell growth and cytokine production; however, upon interaction with its receptor, PD-1 (PDCD1), CD274 will inhibit T-cell proliferation and cytokine production.
