The CD1d, clone 1B1, Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the CD1d antigen, also known as CD1.1 and Ly-38. The Alexa Fluor® 647 dye conjugate provides an excellent spectral match to common long-wavelength excitation sources, with a high extinction coefficient. The fluorescence emission of these conjugates virtually matches that of Cy®5 dye, so optical filters designed for Cy®5 dye are ideal.

Specific for CD1d
CD1d, also known as CD1.1 or Ly-38, is a type I membrane glycoprotein with structural similarities to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. It regulates CD1d-mediated antigen presentation by presenting non-peptide glycolipid antigens to CD1d-restricted T cells. CD1d is the only CD1 molecule found in mice. Mouse CD1d has broad tissue distribution and is expressed on leukocytes, dendritic cells, epithelial cells, and thymocytes.
