The CD117 (c-Kit), clone 2B8, Pacific Blue™ conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes the mouse CD117 (c-Kit) antigen. Our Pacific Blue™ dye is optimally excited by the violet laser and conjugates of this dye are strongly fluorescent even at neutral pH. Since Pacific Blue™ and Pacific Orange™ dye conjugates can be simultaneously excited at 405 nm and emit at 455 nm and 551 nm, respectively, they conveniently facilitate two-color analysis.


Specific for CD117 (c-Kit)
CD117, also known as c-Kit or mast/stem cell growth factor receptor (SCFR), is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor belonging to the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily. It is expressed on mast cells, multipotent hematopoietic stem cells, precursors to B cells and T cells, and myeloerythroid progenitors. The interaction between CD117 and its ligands, which are stem cell factor (SCF) and mast cell growth factor (MGF), is critical to the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of hematopoietic progenitor cells.
