The CD44 (Pgp-1), clone IM7, PerCP-Cy^®5.5 conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes all isoforms of mouse CD44, also known as Pgp-1. The PerCP-Cy^®5.5 tandem conjugate combines the peridinin-chlorophyll proteins (PerCP) complexes, found in nature, with the Cy^®5.5 cyanine dye; thereby permitting simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets by utilizing a single excitation source - the 488 nm line of an argon-ion laser.


CD44 (Pgp-1)
The rat anti-human/mouse CD44 monoclonal antibody (mAb) reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD44. Through its binding to hyaluronate, CD44 functions as an extracellular matrix adhesion molecule. CD44 is expressed by both hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells, where high levels of its expression occurs in myeloid cells of the bone marrow and memory T cells, and its upregulated expression (in response to certain stimulatory events) occurs in peripheral B and T cells.
