CD24
The rat anti-mouse CD24 monoclonal antibody (mAb) reacts with the mouse CD24 molecule. Anchored in the plasma membrane through a phosphatidylinositol linkage, CD24 is expressed by cells of myeloid lineage, thymocytes, and peripheral lymphocytes. CD24 is a variably glycosylated molecule, which results in the molecular mass heterogeneity of C24 observed in different cell lineages - as evidenced by subtle differences in staining levels on different lymphocyte populations. The expression of CD24 is used to resolve stages of B lymphopoiesis in mouse bone marrow.
