The CD16/32, clone 93, PerCP-Cy®5.5 conjugate is a rat monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes an epitope shared by mouse CD16 and mouse CD32. The PerCP-Cy®5.5 tandem conjugate combines the peridinin-chlorophyll proteins (PerCP) complexes, found in nature, with the Cy®5.5 cyanine dye; thereby permitting simultaneous multicolor labeling and detection of multiple targets by utilizing a single excitation source - the 488 nm line of an argon-ion laser.

CD16/32
The rat anti-mouse CD16/32 monoclonal antibody (mAb) recognizes a conformational epitope formed by lymphocyte receptors, FcγII and FcγIII. The Fcγ receptors (FcγRs) recognize the Fc portion of IgG, presented as immune complexes or free antibody. FcγR type II is expressed on a wide variety of cells, including B cells, hematopoietic cells, monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, platelets, Langerhans cells, eosinophils, basophils, trophoblasts, and endothelial cells of the placenta. FcγR type III are expressed on macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils. Both types of receptors can be constitutively expressed on the same cell in varying ratios; and they can be modulated cytokines and lymphokines. The rat anti-mouse CD16/32 mAb can identify FcγR+ cells, and block Fc receptor binding.
