TC-FlAsH™ Expression Analysis Detection Kit - Red is a fluorescent in-gel detection of TC-tagged and total proteins. These detection kits are built on the TC-FlAsH expression tag technology, which utilize a small 6 amino acid TC-Tag and the FlAsH reagent for fast, easy, and specific detection of tagged proteins in gels.

Once host cells are transformed with the TC tag expression construct, the crude or purified lysate is incubated with the stain and run on conventional gels.

A UV light box or laser scanner can be used to detect the TC tagged protein at 530 nm and the total protein stain plus benchmark reference ladder at 660 nm.
