This purified recombinant mouse monoclonal antibodyrecognizes human multiple endocrine neoplasia I (MEN1).

MEN1 is a tumor suppressor related to a syndrome known as multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1. The MEN1 gene encodes menin. The exact function of menin is uncertain--it is likely involved in several important cell functions. It is localized to the nucleus, possesses two functional nuclear localization signals, and inhibits transcriptional activation by JunD. In humans, the gene is located in the q arm of chromosome 11.
