Specific for LMO2
LMO2 encodes a cysteine-rich, two LIM-domain protein that is required for yolk sac erythropoiesis. It plays a key role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved. The LMO2 transcription start site is located approximately 25 kb downstream from the 11p13 T-cell translocation cluster (11p13 ttc), where a number of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-specific translocations occur. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Oligoclonal Antibody Advantages Include:
- Superior lot-to-lot consistency
- Extremely high specificity and sensitivity
- Validated for western blot and indirect ELISA
Life Technologies oligoclonal antibodies are a pool of monoclonalrabbit IgG antibodies targeted against a specific antigen. Oligoclonalantibodies are produced by transfection of mammalian cells with heavyand light chain antibody cDNAs. This provides you with the highestconsistency between lots, eliminating the need to revalidate yourassays for each lot.
Detect Low Levels of Target Protein
Life Technologies oligoclonal antibodies demonstrate much highersensitivity than ordinary antibodies. Proteins expressed in low levelscan be detected with high specificity allowing you to use less of yourprecious samples than with ordinary antibodies.
Recombinant Rabbit IgG—Use Like Any Other IgGAntibody
As with traditional IgG antibodies, gel electrophoresis of rabbitoligoclonal antibodies produces a 150 kDa band under non-reducingconditions and 50 kDa and 25 kDa bands under reducing conditions.
