Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1A (TNFRSF1A/CD120a), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Ala 212) of mouse TNFRSF1A (NP_ 035739.2) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity:
1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA:
a. Immobilized human TNFA at 10 µg/mL (100 µl/well) can bind  biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his. The ED₅₀ of biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his is 0.28 µg/mL.
b. Immobilized mouse TNFA at 10 µg/mL (100 µl/well) can bind  biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his. The ED₅₀ of biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his is 0.13 µg/mL.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit the TNF mediated cytotoxicity in the L929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D. The ED₅₀ for this effect is typically 0.5-1.5 µg/mL in the presence of 0.1 ng/mL recombinant mouse TNF.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
