Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1A (TNFRSF1A/CD120a), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Ala 212) of mouse TNFRSF1A (NP_ 035739.2) fused to a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity:
1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA:
a. Immobilized human TNFA at 10 µg/mL (100 µl/well) can bind  biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his. The ED50 of biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his is 0.28 µg/mL.
b. Immobilized mouse TNFA at 10 µg/mL (100 µl/well) can bind  biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his. The ED50 of biotinylated mouse TNFRSF1A-his is 0.13 µg/mL.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit the TNF mediated cytotoxicity in the L929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D. The ED50 for this effect is typically 0.5-1.5 µg/mL in the presence of 0.1 ng/mL recombinant mouse TNF.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
