Interleukin 18 binding protein (IL18BP), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure, studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the precursor (Met 1-Ala 193) of mouse IL18BP (NP_034661.1) fused to a polyhistide tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse IL18BP-His at 1 µg/well can bind biotinylated cynomolgus IL18 with a linear range of 0.16-4.0µg/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
