The Ion OneTouch™ 200 Template Kit v2 DL contains template preparation reagents for automated and reproducible template preparation for up to 300 base-read libraries using the Ion OneTouch™ System with the DL configuration. As an integral component of the semiconductor sequencing workflow, the Ion OneTouch™ 200 Template Kit v2 DL is designed to make high-quality templated Ion Sphere™ particles using the Ion OneTouch™ System to streamline the overall Ion sequencing workflow, yield significant time savings, increase productivity, and accelerate scientific discovery.

Single Day Sequencing Workflow
Ion Torrent revolutionizes template preparation by integrating 4 workflows into a single system: 1) microreactor generation for massively parallel clonal amplification, 2) template amplification using a novel in-line PCR technology, 3) Ion Sphere™ recovery using an integrated mini-centrifugation system, and 4) template-positive Ion Sphere™ enrichment by magnetic separation (Fig 1). By integrating multiple workflows, the Ion OneTouch™ System and associated reagent kit shortens template preparation to minutes of hands-on time, allowing you to progress from sample to results in a single day. The modular nature of the Ion sequencing workflow allows processing of up to 2 samples per day.

Increased Productivity and Lower Costs
The Ion OneTouch™ System and associated reagent kits support the Ion 314™, Ion 316™, and Ion 318™ Chips, for sequence throughputs up to 1 Gb. The modular nature of the system facilitates QC testing of your sample to assess Ion Sphere™ template positivity and yield pre- and post-enrichment for greater peace of mind regarding the likelihood of sequencing success with your sample. The system also drastically reduces time and cost by supporting template preparation of multiplexed libraries for DNA-based applications.

The Ion OneTouch™ 200 Template Kit v2 DL contains sufficient template preparation reagents for sequencing 10 samples using the Ion OneTouch™ System. The kit components include proprietary Ion Sphere™ particles, buffers, PCR reagent and enzyme mixes, consumables, and primers. Store components at ambient temperature, -20 °C, or 4 °C, as appropriate.

Notes:
This kit is only compatible with OneTouch™ Systems that have been upgraded to the DL configuration. To upgrade your system, order the Ion OneTouch™ DL Upgrade Kit.
This kit is not compatible with the Ultra Turrax Drive from IKA® for the Ion PGM™ System.
This kit supports 100, 200, and 300 bp run configurations.
