The NEBNext® Fast DNA Library Construction kits for Ion Torrent provide fast, high yield protocols for production of libraries suitable for sequencing on the Ion Torrent Personal Genome Machine (PGM™) System. All required reagents are supplied for construction of libraries from inputs of 100 ng–1 µg DNA, in just over 2 hours with minimal hands-on time. This version of the kit is for use with pre-sheared DNA. NEBNext® kits undergo stringent quality controls and functional validation, for maximum yield, convenience, and value.

Product Format Flexibility

Optional Enzyme-based Fragmentation: The kits are provided in two formats. The NEBNext® Fast Fragmentation and Library Construction Kit includes reagents for enzyme-based DNA fragmentation and is suitable for input DNA of all types. The NEBNext® Fast Library Construction Kit is suitable for DNA that has been sheared by physical methods.

Multiplex Compatibility: Both kits are compatible with the Ion Xpress™ Barcode Adapters 1-16 Kit.

Two Kit Sizes: Each kit is available in 10 reaction and 50 reaction sizes. In addition to increased convenience for higher throughput users, the 50 reaction kit size provides reduced pricing per reaction.

Quality
Individual kit components undergo rigorous QC analysis to help ensure maximum quality and purity. In addition, every lot of each kit undergoes functional validation by preparation of a genomic DNA library that is sequenced on the PGM™ System.
