The E-Gel® Imager system is your personal imaging system for documenting and analyzing agarose gels and E-Gel® cassettes. E-Gel® Imager is a very powerful and flexible system that allows you to document gel images using multiple nucleic acid dyes and even Qdot® nanocrystals. Each E-Gel® Imager system includes a universal filter along with the camera hood. E-Gel® Imager Qdot® 625 Filter is optimized for applications utilizing Qodot® 625 nanocrystal technology.

Filter Trays Allow Easy Swapping with No Extra Tools
Every E-Gel® Imager Camera Hood comes with a pre-installed universal filter. Alternative filters can be easily utilized by simply removing the universal filter tray and sliding in the filter tray of your choosing into the camera hood.

The Right Filter for Your Application
For most applications the universal filter installed in the camera hood at the time of purchase will be acceptable. There are two specific alternative filters that are currently available. First, there’s the E-Gel® Imager UV/SYBR® Filter, which is the best choice when documenting gels stainded with a SYBR® stain using UV transillumination. Second, there’s the E-Gel® Imager Qdot® 625 filter that can be used with Qdot® nanocrystal with an emission peak of 625nm.
