This is a thermal cycler for use with up to eight TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plates. It includes a GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 Base Module, and a Dual Flat Block GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 sample module. The GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 is specifically designed for the amplification of nucleic acids.

The Dual Flat Block GeneAmp® PCR System 9700 has been designed for use with TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plates. Each system is pre-programmed with TaqMan® OpenArray® Genotyping Plate PCR protocol and can accommodate up to 8 OpenArray® Plates for PCR amplification at one time. The complete system includes the System 9700 Base Module and Dual Flat Block Sample Module. Additionally, the base module and sample module may be purchased separately.
