Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® SNP Genotyping Assays use the 5´ nuclease assay to discriminate between two alleles of a specific SNP for use in genotyping studies. This large-scale product is sufficient for 12,000 reactions at 5 µL volume in a 384-well plate. Each assay is delivered as an 80X mix of a forward primer, a reverse primer, 6FAM™ dye-MGB–labeled probe, and VIC® dye-MGB–labeled probe. Each probe binds preferentially to one of the alleles. The assays are held in silico. All assays are classified as made-to-order. All TaqMan® SNP Genotyping Assays are provided in a ready-to-use, single-tube format for the simplest genotyping workflow available and immediate results.
