The SNaPshot® PrimerFocus® kit allows rapid assessment of potential SNP oligonucleotides. You can preview all potential single-base extension products and calculate the mobility rate for each allele. After assessing this data, you can determine the optimal combination of SNP markers for multiplexing. After the multiplex format has been determined, you can use the reference data to establish markers and bin sets quickly in the GeneMapper® software, thereby reducing the time required to define and edit bins manually.
