Convenience
AmpliTaq Gold® PCR Master Mix contains AmpliTaq Gold® DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, Gold Buffer, and MgCl₂. It is provided at 2X the recommended usage concentration for easier addition of primers and template. Designed for convenience, AmpliTaq Gold® PCR Master Mix scales to various reaction volumes for greater application and format flexibility.

AmpliTaq Gold® 360 Master Mix for Superior Performance
For even better performance, we also offer the new Applied Biosystems® AmpliTaq Gold® 360 Master Mix. This mix includes AmpliTaq Gold® 360 DNA Polymerase, which compared to AmpliTaq Gold® DNA Polymerase, is purified by an additional proprietary separation process to eliminate contaminating bacterial DNA sequences from the enzyme preparation. This mix also includes the enhanced 360 Gold Buffer. When combined with the purified enzyme, the 360 Gold Buffer reduces false positive results, amplifies low-level target sequences, and promotes amplification of a variety of templates. To work through challenging GC-rich templates, a 360 GC Enhancer is also included in a separate tube.
