Perform high-throughput, high-temperature RT-PCR in a single-tube with the single-enzyme RT-PCR system from Applied Biosystems®. Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® EZ RT-PCR Core Reagents without Controls combine rTth DNA polymerase with the fluorogenic 5' nuclease assay in a one-step reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) format. This format is ideally suited to high sample throughput and high-temperature reverse transcription, which is beneficial when amplifying RNA that contains secondary structure. The kit includes reagents sufficient for 2,000 PCR reactions of 50 µL each.
