c-Met (HGFr) is a proto-oncogene protein and a cell-surface receptor of hepatocyte growth factor. Overexpression of c-met is reported to correlate with tumor invasion, lymph node metastasis, and poor prognosis in gastric cancer. It has also been shown that abnormal c-met expression in node-negative breast cancer patients may be a useful prognostic indicator. Positive tissue: Breast carcinoma

Clone/PAD: CVD13

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide derived from human c-Met sequence conjugated to carrier protein.

Specificity: c-Met

Reactivity: Human

Applications: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE)

Pretreatment: Epitope Retrieval: Required (Citrate buffer, pH 6.0), Enzyme Digestion: Not required

Expected Staining Pattern: Cytoplasmic
