This monoclonal antibody reacts with low molecular weight cytokeratin 20 (46 kDa). It is useful in distinguishing colon adenocarcinoma from non-mucinous ovarianadenocarcinoma. The antibody consistantly stains Merkel cell carcinoma and can be used to differentiate this carcinoma from metastatic small cell carcinoma of the skin. Positive tissue: Colon carcinoma.
