This polyclonal ALK (Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase) antibody reacts specifically with the ALK protein, and does not cross-react with related proteins. It is reported that ALK lymphoma has a significantly better prognosis than ALK(-) ALCL. Immunostaining of the following normal tissues showed no staining: adrenal gland, brain, breast, colon, endometrium, esophagus, kidney, liver, lung, lymphoid, muscle (cardiac, skeletal, and smooth), pancreas, placenta, skin, spleen, stomach, testis, thyroid gland, and tonsil. Some scattered neuronal cells and glial cells stained positive. Positive tissue: ALK(+) lymphoma.

Clone/PAD: ZAL4
