X174 RF DNA/Hae III Fragments are suitable for sizing linear double-stranded DNA from 72 to 1,353 bp. They are prepared by digesting purified X174 RF DNA to completion with Hae III. These bands can be visualized by ethidium bromide staining. The TrackIt™ format is ready-to-load and minimizes time spent thawing, diluting, and adding sample buffer to your DNA ladders. Simply transfer your TrackIt™ DNA Ladder from the vial to the gel. TrackIt™ ladders are stable at room temperature and can be stored on your bench top. TrackIt™ DNA Ladders offer two tracking dyes, one that runs behind the sample and one that runs ahead of the sample. The tracking dyes serve as visual markers for following migration during electrophoresis and indicate when maximum resolution of the DNA fragments has been achieved. Additionally, visualization of DNA bands will not be obscured by the tracking dyes because they run outside the limits of most DNA samples.
