Cluster of Differentiation 86 (CD86/B7-2), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-His 239) of human CD86 (NP_008820.2) fused to the His-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CD28-His at 1 µg/well can bind human CD86-Fc with a linear range of 1.25-20.0 µg/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
