Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 3 (ICAM3), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of human ICAM3 (NP_002153.2) (Met 1-His 485) fused to the C-terminal fused polyhistidine tag.

Activity: Measured by the ability of the immobilized protein to support the adhesion of PMA stimulated HSB2 human peripheral blood acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. When cells are added to ICAM3 coated plates (12.5 µg/ml , 100 µl/well), approximately 5 % -15 % will adhere specifically.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween 80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

This protein is manufactured by Sino Biological Inc.
